We are currently doing a series in Sunday school titled Walking with God. A Christian who walks with God has a personal relationship with Jesus and lives in step with the Holy Spirit. A Christian who lives the Word studies and applies the Bible to all areas of life. A Christian who contributes to the work uses his or her gifts and talents to help the growth and ministry of the local church. Finally, a Christian who impacts the world is one prepared and eager for personal evangelism. This is a six book series. The studies are as follows:
We are currently working in the fourth book: Instructor--Deacon Lett When God saves you, He puts you on his team. This team is more enduring than any human institution-for it wil continue to exist in heaven forever. But may Christians are unconnected to the team to the team God has given them as a gift. This study will explore the wonder and beauty of God's plan to connect his children in the life-sustaining community called the church. You will see the biblical view of a healthy church-and learn how it can impact you in profound ways. (Excerpt taken from Follow Me, Don Cousins & Judson Poling) ..He went up into a mountain.and taught them.-Matthew 5:1-2 Founded in 1994, Mountain Top Ministries is a ministry committed to training Christian leaders to be effective servants in the local church. 3. Ask God to bless and help three other people who you believe may need God's help today. Move toward others and away from self-centeredness.
4. Ask God to forgive your sins and mistakes as you confess them; ask God to give you the strength to forgive.
5. Ask God to help one other person that you find hard to like. Ask for insight into that person's problems and how you may allow God's love to flow through you.
6. Ask to be sensitive today toward the needs of one person with whom you may share God's love by word and deed.
7. Ask for insight into your own personal problems.
8. Ask for help in achieving your personal goals.
9. Ask God to tell you the most important thing you need to do
